Hodlium is Live for the IQ Protocol
Another milestone for the IQ Protocol has just been completed as our “hodlium” model has come live.
With this, users and clients can now swap their PRQ tokens to non-expirable Power tokens(pTokens) that will enable access to our base monitoring services without paying any additional fees.
This was also the final piece of the puzzle to complete our sustainable tokenomics model for PARSIQ and the PRQ token.
But the work isn’t finished here, we plan on reworking the entire dashboard and changing some of the terminology used there, along with bringing forward a usable statistics page to showcase usage, earnings, APY etc, and then work on onboarding the first clients that will use the IQ Protocol for their own tokenomics, like Mysterium, CDzExchange and Coreto.
How to use the Hodlium model?
Make sure your PRQ tokens are on the Binance Smart Chain network, if not, here is a full guide on how to bridge your tokens: https://blog.parsiq.net/prq-coming-to-bsc-and-pancakeswap/
Go to iq.space
Connect your wallet
Select your wallet and click Next
And click connect on the confirmation page in metamask.
Once your wallet is connected, then you can select Swap and choose how many actions, and address storing tokens you need.

Pricing is dynamic and will fluctuate depending on the borrowing pressure on the pool, but 1 PRQ is = 1 pToken PRQ perpetually.
And you can always exchange your pTokens back to PRQ 1:1 if you stop using the platform or your usage decreases.
On our Monitoring Portal you can find our calculator for how many pTokens are required at any given time.
